Data Driven Innovation in Legal Tech

The next innovation in shared economy, e-commerce, marketplace, and data and analytics will happen in the regulated industries such as legal and education. The legal space is on the cusp of achieving digital transformation through automation of business processes and workflows, and transformation of traditional software products into platforms. Platform in the form of a multi-vendor marketplace will help open new doors to the various service providers/vendors in the legal area. Such a marketplace will not only help these vendors build a community, but also help them increase proximity with law firms. The end to end cloud based workflow management and secure data sharing takes care of concerns like GDPR and data privacy. Data sharing in the form of Datawarehouse as a Managed Service, is also disrupting legal tech. It makes data available to law firms in a secure way. This helps them not only to bring in their own reporting tools, but also gain more control over their data. It leads to expansion of their data assets, and allows them to conduct deeper analysis and customization of data by connecting to cloud systems like HR and billing. Such a unique value proposition results in democratization of data.
